Blumhouse and Hulu have released the official trailer for their upcoming November installment in their horror anthology series Into the Dark titled PILGRIM. Make sure you watch the trailer below and let us know what you think.
In an attempt to remind her family of their privilege and help them bond, Ms. Anna Barker invites Pilgrim re-enactors to stay with them over Thanksgiving. When the “actors” refuse to break character, the Barker family learns that there is such a thing as too much gratitude. The next installment of Blumhouse’s Into the Dark premieres November 1, only on Hulu.
The cast of the film consists of Reign Edwards (“Snowfall”, Hell Fest), Peter Giles (“The Legend of Korra”, Yes Man), Courtney Henggeler (Nobody’s Fool, Bog Creatures), Kerr Smith (“Charmed”, Final Destination), Taj Speights (The 716th, The Three Rachels), and Antonio Raul Corbo (“New Girl”, The Secret Life of Pets 2).
The film is directed by Marcus Dunstan (The Collector, Saw IV) and was written by Dunstan, Noah Feinberg (Reincarnation Inc., Fruit), and Patrick Melton (Black Light, Feast).
In partnership with Blumhouse Television, Into The Dark is a monthly horror event series from prolific, award-winning producer, Jason Blum’s independent TV studio. Each feature-length installment is inspired by a holiday and features Blumhouse’s signature genre/thriller spin on the story.
