Samuel Goldwyn Films and Shudder alongside Ace Pictures and SpectreVision production dropped the first official trailer for their upcoming film, DANIEL ISN’T REAL. They also revealed the much-anticipated release date for the film. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Troubled college freshman Luke (Miles Robbins) suffers a violent family trauma and resurrects his childhood imaginary friend Daniel (Patrick Schwarzenegger) to help him cope. Charismatic and full of manic energy, Daniel helps Luke to achieve his dreams, before pushing him to the very edge of sanity and into a desperate struggle for control of his mind — and his soul.

From the producers of MANDYDANIEL ISN’T REAL stars Patrick Schwarzenegger (Midnight Sun), Miles Robbins (Blockers), Sasha Lane (American Honey), Hannah Marks (Anesthesia) and Mary Stuart Masterson (Some Kind of Wonderful). The film is directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Brian DeLeeuw (The Laughing Man).
