Have you ever wanted to be a scare actor for the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride? Well, now is your chance! Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is holding auditions this coming weekend and we want to see YOU there!
LA’s Haunted Hayride is looking to fill roles that include actors, stilt walkers, jugglers, circus performers, puppet operators and improvisational artists. They are also looking for customer service and operations staff as well as cashiers, ticket scanners, parking lot attendants, greeters, line staff and security.
LA’s Haunted Hayride is looking for male and females, all ethnicities, from ages 18-99 in all height and sizes. Unique individuals encouraged to apply! Scare actors to play various monsters, mythological creatures, and other scary entities who roam, taunt, and terrify guests. They are casting actors with exceptional movement ability who can make great sounds to play a variety of different creatures. Experience with physical and vocal improv and haunted attractions is a plus.
This is a LIVE outdoor event in Central Los Angeles. You will be interacting with the general public during your performance. Performance spaces may include one or more of the following: tight spaces, darkness, strobe lighting, and fog effects. Costumes may include one or more of the following: latex/silicone masks, blood effects, over-sized costume pieces and full body creature suits. Some roles may require lifting up to 50 lbs. Performers must be available for all show nights between September 27th through November 2nd for casting consideration.
Auditions for Los Angeles’ Haunted Hayride are not open auditions. To be considered you must fill out an online application. If selected, you will be contacted by a casting director to set up an audition time for one of the following dates:
Saturday, August 17
Sunday, August 18

This year, guests will get to experience a completely re-imagined LA Haunted Hayride. The Griffith Park grounds will be transformed into Midnight Falls, an eerie and mysterious fictitious village set in 1985, where time stands still and it is always Halloween.
