Hot off the heels of the successful Cantina del Diablo summer party and To Live and Di(n)e in LA supper club, Drunken Devil is proud to present a brand new dining experience, taking guests back to the very beginning of time in THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

THE GARDEN OF EDEN is a fully-realized theatrical dinner, aesthetically inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood, where guests will rub elbows with a host of celestial beings, including God herself. “In our world, God is a very distinguished, classic character, and I drew inspiration from legendary actresses like Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Crawford, and Vivien Leigh when I wrote her,” says Matt Dorado, creator of Drunken Devil. Guests will mingle with God and her angels…until the Drunken Devil himself, and a pair of his most mischievous demons, arrive to crash the party. “God represents temperance and control, while the Drunken Devil represents hedonism and anarchy,” Dorado continues. “So the experience itself is not just a dinner party in the Garden of Eden; it’s a feud between Heaven and Hell. A melodramatic feud, to be sure.”

As for the dining portion, guests can expect three mouth-watering courses centered around the idea of ‘forbidden fruit.’ The menu, designed by longtime Drunken Devil collaborator Christena Quinn of Brack Shop Tavern, will feature decadent dishes like smoked quail with apple and herb stuffing, or tart green apples sprinkled in edible gold; each course will include a cocktail pairing, with free-flowing wine and hard cider available throughout the night.

Like all Drunken Devil events, THE GARDEN OF EDEN will also feature live entertainment, including original modern dance and burlesque numbers that tell the story of the Fall of Man. “Our events always have some element of live performance, outside of the immersive narrative,” Dorado says. “This show will feature never-before-seen acts designed specifically for The Garden of Eden.”

THE GARDEN OF EDEN has two seatings, on Saturday August 10th (starting at 7:00pm) and Sunday, August 11th (starting at 6:00pm), and will take place in a clandestine garden in the heart of Los Angeles (exact location to be announced in the days before the event). Tickets for the 21+ affair are limited, and now on sale at
