Much to this writer’s horror, IT CHAPTER TWO is coming back home to Hollywood after how successful the Neibolt House was from the original IT Experience.

The terrifying IT EXPERIENCE CHAPTER TWO – “The Derry Canal Days Festival” – will be launching to the public on August 15th and will run through September 8th. It’ll be open every day from 2pm-11pm at Hollywood Blvd & Vine St. Ticketing launches on July 31st.  Go to the official website for IT EXPERIENCE CHAPTER TWO to see the creeptastic countdown that is keeping track of how long it will be until the experience opens. If you’re anything like me, you won’t want it open. You’ll want Pennywise to stay far far away. Alas, IT is drawn to terror.

The experience opens up just in time for the arrival of the next film, IT CHAPTER TWO, which is a follow-up to the immensely successful IT CHAPTER ONE. The film takes place 27 years after the events of the first movie and we see the characters we grew to know and love in the first film be brought back together again as adults in IT CHAPTER TWO.

The film stars James McAvoy stars as Bill, Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, and Bill Skarsgård returning in the seminal role of Pennywise.

Andy Bean plays Stanley, and reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Martell as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie.

Andy Muschietti directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (IT) based on the novel by Stephen King. Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing the film. Marty Ewing, Seth Grahame-Smith, and David Katzenberg are the executive producers.

IT CHAPTER TWO will be released in theaters on September 6, 2019.
