Bill Kopp is proud to be a special guest at the Midsummer Scream Convention in Long Beach, California on August 3 & 4, 2019.  Bill will be at this crazy, Halloween-themed horror convention selling brand new prints from recent art gallery shows and old favorites from his cartoon TV series. Bill will also be signing paperback copies of his brand new illustrated dark fairy tale book LITTLE DEAD RIDING HOOD, out shortly from Sinister Gnome Press! Tickets to Midsummer Scream can be purchased directly at this link:

Two-time Academy Award-winner Bill Kopp has been making funny cartoons for over 30 years. He is the co-creator of “EEK! THE CAT” and voiced the beloved title character.  Kopp directed the animation in the feature films ONE CRAZY SUMMER and BETTER OFF DEAD and was one of 3 animators on the early “SIMPSONS” shorts on the “TRACY ULLMAN SHOW”. He wrote and produced “THE SHNOOKUMS AND MEAT FUNNY CARTOON SHOW”, which included “TEX TINSTAR” and “PITH POSSUM SUPER-DYNAMIC POSSUM of TOMORROW!”.

Kopp also created the cartoon “MAD JACK THE PIRATE” and also voiced Mad Jack himself. His other producing and writing credits include “ROLLER COASTER RABBIT” and “TUMMY TROUBLE”, TOONSYLVANIA, THE TWISTED WHISKERS SHOW, the “TOM & JERRY” movies BLAST-OFF to MARS and THE FAST and the FURRY, and the animated episode “The Third Pig” for TALES FROM THE CRYPT (possibly the bloodiest cartoon ever made).

Bill Kopp’s new book LITTLE DEAD RIDING HOOD is a gory, fun-filled rhyming book featuring 36 original color paintings. In LITTLE DEAD, the Big Bad Wolf gets what he deserves when Red Riding Hood and her fairy tale friends finally get their revenge! Bill will have copies of the book, prints from the book’s images, and select items with LITTLE DEAD images for sale. “I can’t wait for you guys to see my book,” says Bill about sharing his newest creations with his fans. “I spent eight long months making what I think is the best art I’ve ever created and I want to know what you think of it!”

Bill will be at booth # 1030 the entire run of the Midsummer Scream convention. Visit Bill at for news about all of his convention appearances and new artwork. Visit for more information about the convention.
