[News] Social Media Reactions to IT CHAPTER TWO Trailer!

The much-anticipated release of the first IT CHAPTER TWO trailer happened this morning and it cannot be denied that it was frightening. We got a lengthy, slow tension-filled scene between Jessica Chastain’s Beverly Marsh and a strange old woman before we fully plunged into the madness that embodies Derry, Maine.

We got to finally see the gang all grown up and revel in the absolutely perfect casting of the adults. But, like many of us who fell in love with the original film, it was the arrival of Pennywise featured more prominently at the end of the trailer that really set the tone. What an exciting start to the day that has yet to stop lingering.

If you haven’t had the chance yet, I’ve included a link below for your use.

Personally, I’m absolutely terrified about the impending release of this film.  Bill Skarsgård’s performance as Pennywise in the first film is literally a scare actor’s wet dream and something straight out of my own personal nightmares. The natural tension that director Andy Muschietti was able to build from Gary Dauberman’s script was enough to send me over the edge when combined with the scares set up in certain scenes. Despite the fear that is currently mocking me though, I am excited about this film. And, based off of social media, I’d say a lot of other people are just as excited.

Check out the social media reactions below and then let us know what you think of the new IT CHAPTER TWO trailer in the comments below.

IT CHAPTER TWO will float its way into theaters on September 6, 2019.
