Samuel Goldwyn Films has released a brand new poster and trailer for their upcoming horror film, HEAD COUNT. The film will make its way into theaters and be available On-Demand and Digital on June 14, 2019. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts.

Newcomer Evan joins a group of teens on a getaway in Joshua Tree. While exchanging ghost stories around the campfire, Evan reads aloud a mysterious chant from an internet site. From that moment, someone–or something–is among them. As unsettling, inexplicable events become more frequent, Evan realizes this summoned shape-shifting creature is targeting them to fulfill a deadly ritual.

HEAD COUNT stars Ashleigh Morghan (Paper Shadows, Native Son), Isaac Jay (Flock of Four, See You Later), and Sam Marra (“Awkward, “Homecoming”). The film was directed by Elle Callahan (Wonder Woman, Happy Deathday) and written by Callahan and Michael Nader (Flock of Four, The Toll).

The film was produced by Sam Sandweiss & Brandon Somerhalder; and executive produced by Hunter Peterson, Haoliang Harvey Zhang, Elle Callahan, Eric B. Fleischman, and Lauri Apelian.

HEAD COUNT premiered at the 2018 Los Angeles Film Festival, and Ashleigh Morghan was honored with the Nightfall Special Jury Prize for a Lead Actor.
