Ripped from the pages of the Frank L. Baum’s “Land of OZ” novels, The Speakeasy Society’s newest piece throws audiences into the middle of an alternate reality game (ARG) inspired experience that takes place in real time and evolves according to audiences’ responses.
The fate of Kansas is in jeopardy. Queen Ozma intends to open the largest portal ever created, large enough for her Armed Militia to conquer our world. With magic slowly returning, both sides of the conflict have a few last surprises up their sleeves. You hold the Key to the fate of Kansas and OZ. What are you willing to sacrifice?
Chapter 10: The Portal is the epic conclusion to The Speakeasy Society’s episodic saga THE KANSAS COLLECTION. You are in the center of the action as Patchwork and the Queen’ Armed Militia return for their final showdown. As the chapter unfolds, join the characters on every twist and turn of this whirlwind production staged throughout the historic McCarty Memorial Christian Church in West Adams.
There are limited tickets available for audience members new to THE KANSAS COLLECTION, with 30 minutes of additional content including bonus one-on-one interactions with familiar characters from Oz, preparing first-time guests for the battle to come.
Tickets go on sale today at 12 PM PST. Tickets are $80 for returning audiences and $100 for new audiences, which does include additional bonus content to get new audience members up to speed. The run time for returning audience members is 90 minutes and 120 minutes for new audience members.
