A horror legend is finally given the opportunity to be immortalized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Nostalgic Nebula, in partnership with Flatline TV, are in the efforts to nominate horror icon Robert Englund, best known for his infamous role as Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare On Elm Street series, for a Star on the world-renowned Hollywood Walk of Fame for the year 2020.
An Indiegogo campaign has been launched with a Flexible goal of $80,000 to raise funds for installment and maintenance of the Star, should Robert Englund’s nomination be accepted by the Walk of Fame Committee. In addition to Star Installation fees, funds will be used to cover IndieGoGo, accounting, federal and state tax fees; as well as the producing and manufacturing of contributor incentives. Any additional contributions will be used to unlock more incentives for contributors such as: a documentary covering the journey to get the Star, Front row: Star Ceremony Video and many items if we surpass the needed goal. The Indiegogo campaign will run from April 12th to June 12th with contribution tiers ranging from $1 to $2,500 with contribution gifts including limited edition commemorative t-shirts, sweatshirts, and enamel pins. Top tier contributors will be invited to an exclusive celebratory party in Los Angeles on the day of the Star Ceremony with invited horror elite including cast and crew from the A Nightmare On Elm Street franchise.
From film screenings to fan meet-ups throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, Nostalgic Nebula provides unique events and attractions that rekindle the love and passion for the movies, cartoons and music from our past. Under the direction of Nostalgic Nebula’s Captain Cody Chavez, Nostalgic Nebula events provide immersive experiences in cinematic atmospheres, opportunities to meet the artists behind your favorite films and make new friends and connections with folks who share your affection for the classics.
