When the world is under attack from terrifying creatures who hunt their human prey by sound, 16-year old Ally Andrews (Kiernan Shipka), who lost her hearing at 13, and her family seek refuge in a remote haven. But they discover a sinister cult who are eager to exploit Ally’s heightened senses.
THE SILENCE is directed by John R. Leonetti (Annabelle) and stars Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones, The Hunger Games), Kiernan Shipka (“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”, “Mad Men”), Miranda Otto (“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”, “Homeland”), John Corbett (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, Gully), Kate Trotter (Tru Love, Beyond Borders) and Kyle Breitkopf (“V-Wars”, “PJ Masks”).
The film is based upon the novel by Tim Lebbon and has been written by Carey Van Dyke and Shane Van Dyke. The film is produced by Alexandra Milchan (Mirrors, Paranoia), Scott Lambert (Paranoia, Polly Me Love), and Robert Kulzer (Resident Evil franchise).
