AMI Promotes Homicide in First Official Teaser Trailer

My mother always taught me not to do the bidding of strangers, but what happens when something sounds like someone you trust? Would you do as they say? How far would you be willing to go for them? IndustryWorks Studios attempts to address that in their brand new film AMI.

IndustryWorks Studios, who is also handling international sales of the film at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival, has released the first official teaser trailer for the film, which you can check out below.

Young Cassie comes across a discarded cell phone with the latest artificial intelligence on it called AMI. Cassie customizes the AI to sound like her deceased mother which soon fulfills the void in Cassie’s life. As their relationship deepens, the nurturing and seemingly caring AI drives Cassie to perform heinous acts of murder that AMI convinces her are totally justifiable.

AMI stars Debs Howard, Sam Robert Muik, Phil Granger, Havana Guppy, and Bonnie Hay.

The film is written and directed by Rusty Nixon.
