On Monday, February 11th, let Grunge Shop Tavern transport you while in today’s Los Angeles to the Pacific Northwest of 1994. Sampson Creative Enterprises rejoins Brack Shop Tavern to present a second version of their well-received 90’s pop-up bar.

Following the successful ’91 edition in January, Grunge Shop Tavern will continue to appeal to all of the senses. The faint smell of incense will accompany a soundtrack that defined the grunge movement. Bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden will narrate the evening. A special pop-up drink menu includes our 90’s favorites, such as the White Washingtonian (White Russian), the DB Cooper (Kamikaze), and cans of Olympia beer. With a pop-up food menu finessed to impress, Chef Christena Quinn will once again flex her culinary expertise with regional ingredients like salmon, blackberries, wild mushrooms and Tillamook cheese.

Brack Shop Tavern undergoes a memorable transformation to embody a Pacific Northwest grunge bar. Tie dye and batik tapestries shield flat screens, regional neon glow in the darkness, and a palatable Big Foot theme creates memorable photo opportunities. The only TV in use features a one-of-a-kind compilation of current events and local news from 1994. Atmospheric actors return to further immerse patrons, communicating a PNW vibe and inhabiting Grunge Shop‘s infamous Loft. Make sure to say hi to Old Doug, Grunge Shop’s fictitious bar owner.
