This past week I had the privilege of attending a preview of the FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM exhibit at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour.  When myself and the other guests first arrived at the event we were treated to a magical cocktail party very similar to the speakeasy scene in FANTASTIC BEASTS!  The servers were dressed in 1920’s flapper attire and they were serving magical smoking drinks!  Also in this area was a photo booth where you could be superimposed into a picture with the rest of the FANTASTIC BEASTS cast.

Before being let into the exhibit we were treated to a few words from the two guests of honor, the No-Maj star of FANTASTIC BEASTS, Dan Fogler and miss “Ginny Weasley” herself, actress Bonnie Wright.  After sharing their thoughts on the exhibit and posing for a few pictures we were off to experience the magic ourselves.

The exhibit was a collection of props, wardrobe, models, and concept art from both FANTASTIC BEASTS and the original wizarding films.  As a fan of the HARRY POTTER film series as well as FANTASTIC BEASTS, it was very exciting to be able to look at all the details up close for as long as I wanted to.  The presentation and production value was incredible and the attention to detail is unmatched.

To top it all off there was an opportunity to get sorted into your Hogwarts house by the sorting hat.  Since I was wearing my “Borgin and Burkes” shirt I think the hat knew that I wanted to be put in Slytherin.  Don’t worry if that last sentence didn’t make any sense to you, this exhibit is is a must do whether you are a huge HARRY POTTER fan or just a fan of dark and creepy stuff.

To hear more about the event, listen to episode 109 of the Creepy Kingdom podcast and please enjoy the video and pictures as well!!
