EXPOSURE is a new horror film, from the minds of Adam Snell and Jake Jackson. Snell directs with Jackson co-writing, and the film stars Owen Lawless (Helltown) and Carmen Anello, with special guest horror legend Lynn Lowry (I Drink Your Blood, Shivers, The Crazies).
Writer/director Chris Moore, also known for Blessed Are the Children (2016), uses social commentary and comedy to tell the story of a serial killer in the new film TRIGGERED. With the success of recent films like Get Out, TRIGGERED has an interesting concept, but will what could be a rewarding horror comedy meet its goal?
If you know me, you know I"m not the biggest fan of HALLOWEEN. I don't hate it, I'm just more of a Freddy girl. He's a sarcastic little fucker like me and I can't help but love him. That being said, I still, and always will, appreciate HALLOWEEN for what it's done for horror and cinema in general. It's one of the most iconic films ever made with one of the most legendary horror icons to ever grace the screen. The Boogeyman. The Shape. Michael Myers.
Jason Rutherford and his crew have been working on bringing SHHH! to life for a least the past five years and now it is finally available for the world to see on Amazon Prime, Google Play, and iTunes. As a former employee of Kim's Video and Troma Entertainment, I was thoroughly entertained by the raunchy humor and overall exploitation vibe the film presents. Starring a veritable who's who of horror, any exploitation fan will be delighted with SHHH!
Hi again ghosts and ghouls! It's a new year - can you believe 2018 is here already? I'm shocked at just how quickly 2017 flew by. I have a new-found appreciation for haunts, and with that, my love for horror came back ten-fold (it was never gone...just reignited), so I've been a horror-watching machine.
Hello, fellow horror fiends! I'm back with a review for a rather long awaited film. A little over a year ago I had the pleasure of checking out Richard Rowntree's short film titled DOGGED. Now, after following the making of the film on social media for over a year, I finally got to check out the much deserved full-length version.
From writer/director Kevin Mendiboure comes a French horror short that uses simple tactics to scare you right out of your shoes. I kind of had to make that Grandpa joke for all the audiences entertainment of reading my articles. Getting to the real point, I loved this short. It was simple and sweet.
