Film Detective App Brings '31 Days of Classic Halloween Horror'

Flesh-eating plants and the dead rise this October on the classic movie Film Detective App for Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire Stick in preparation for the most glorious holiday of the year for us horror hounds!

For those unaware, Film Detective offers thousands of classic features for the streaming app including horror, documentaries, and long lost classics among other genres - so there's really something for everyone here. All professionally transferred from original film elements, owner Philip Hopkins has provided digitally remastered material for AMC, Turner Classic Movies, and Amazon just to name a few.

Now, the classic movie app is dusting the cobwebs off some seriously spooky classics for it's "31 Days of Horror", which will be available in a dedicated playlist come October 1st. Each day in October, a new title will be added, leading up to 31 films available for binge-watching on Halloween night! Among such classics like Phantom of the Opera, Night of the Living Dead, and House on Haunted Hill, a long-lost TV pilot "Final Curtain," written and directed by the infamous B-Movie King Ed Wood, has now been restored in HD from a rare, surviving film print - and will be included in this October's line-up!

From slashers to horror-comedy, each film is grouped by theme each week for your convenience, including: Supernatural Sunday, Murder Monday, Creature Feature Tuesday, Not-so-Scary Wednesday, Thriller Thursday, Frightful Friday and Slasher Saturday.
