Dario Argento and More to Celebrate 40th Anniversary of SUSPIRIA at Texas Frightmare Weekend

Dario Argento is coming to Texas Frightmare Weekend 2017 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of his masterpiece SUSPIRA!

Argento is best known for his work in the horror film genre, particularly in the subgenre known as giallo, and for his vast influence on modern horror.

Argento got his major break when Sergio Leone allowed him to write the story for Once Upon a Time in the West.  He later directed several classics in the genre like his first movie The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Cat o' Nine Tails, Four Flies on Grey Velvet, Deep Red, Tenebre, Suspiria, Phenomena, Inferno, Opera and many, many more.  He's an accomplished producer too as evident in Lamberto Bava's Demons and Demons 2

Also joining TFW 2017 is the beautiful Barbara Magnolfi.  Magnolfi is perhaps best known as "Suzy's" venomous college roommate Olga in Dario Argento's terrifying horror cult classic Suspiria and the troubled main character in the lurid giallo The Sister of Ursula

Making her first ever convention appearance is Stefania Casini.  Stefania has worked with directors Pietro Germi, Bernardo Bertolucci, Peter Greenaway and Dario Argento.  With Argent she played the role of Sara in the landmark film Suspiria.  She also appeared in the classic giallo The Bloodstained Shadow
