Cross Roads Escape Game Revamps HEX ROOM for Upcoming Halloween Season

Cross Roads Escape Games is a real life adventure game that opened January of this year and has quickly become the leading Escape Game in Southern California.  With the Halloween season approaching, their world famous game, The Hex Room, is getting a makeover with more scares, new puzzles, and a brand new ending!

This is not a video game or a haunted house.  This is a real life horror adventure.  There are no actors, just you and your friends trying to survive.  A horror-loving madman wants to create a horror film, using you and your friends as his stereotypical characters!  Each player will take a quiz before the game to find out which cliche character they are: The nerd, virgin, jock, rebel, prom queen, or detective.  Your team will be divided up into separate rooms where you must work individually and as a team.  Not only do you need to escape, but you must also survive! Who will live? Who will die?

Creative Director, Madison Rhoades, explains, "Currently, the Hex Room is a very creepy experience.  But with this revamp, it will be even more terrifying where you actually feel like you are in a horror film.  We constantly want to push the boundaries of interactive experiences and this revamp is going to blow people away." The Hex Room is scheduled to close during the last week of September to get ready for its new look and scares.  It will reopen October 1st with its new extreme experience.

Madison and her husband, Luke Rhoades, have worked on haunts such as Delusion and Queen Mary's Dark Harbor.  With their theatre and haunt background, they have created realistic custom built sets that fully immerse its players into the atmosphere and storyline.  Every player will have a unique experience, and an important job to help their team escape.  This is also the only escape game where you can leave members of your group behind!  That's right, possibly not everyone will see the ending credits in this film!

Tickets are $35 per person.  The game is 60 minutes long and for 5-10 players.  Cross Roads Escape Games is open Wednesday-Sunday until 11pm, with additional hours this October.  For more information, or to book a game, please visit www.CrossRoadsEscapeGames.com.  Do you have what it takes to survive a horror film?
