The latest provocative short by award-winning film director Patricia Chica, CRIMSON DANCE, will have its World Premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, Canada on Friday, July 22nd at 9:00pm at the de Sève Theatre. The director and her team will be in attendance. The second screening will be on Wednesday, July 27th at 3:00pm at the same location.
A primal and sensual dance is performed by a burlesque artist in an underground Hollywood cabaret to the delight of a blood thirsty audience, who watch in awe as she makes a splash to cure her ills. CRIMSON DANCE presents a conceptual burlesque performance with a twist that reminds the audience that blood can truly save lives.
CRIMSON DANCE is written, directed and edited by Patricia Chica. Shot in Los Angeles earlier this year, the film is executive produced by London Scott of Extensions by London (Los Angeles), and produced by Michelle Romano (Boston) and Patricia Chica (Montreal).
