DENVER, CO - Sally Kirkland, Oscar-nominated, Golden Globe and Spirit Award-winning actress (ANNA, VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, THE STING), joins the already stellar cast of the feature film, GNAW, directed by Haylar Garcia.
The film stars Penelope Mitchell (CURVE, CW’s THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and Netflix’s HEMLOCK GROVE), Chris Johnson (xXx: STATE OF THE UNION, L.A. NOIRE, CURSED), and Kyle Gass (TENACIOUS D IN THE PICK OF DESTINY, KUNG FU PANDA, ELF).
GNAW follows Jennifer Conrad (Mitchell), a small-town girl fleeing from an abusive husband (Johnson) and struggling to make a new life for herself in the big city while something is eating away at her… bite by bite. This is Garcia’s follow-up to the award-winning and critically acclaimed AN AMERICAN TERROR.
GNAW starts principal photography in May in Denver, Colorado. The production is in part funded by Colorado’s progressive film incentive program. GNAW is a joint production of Unreal Media and Wrecking Ball Pictures.
