A family fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his estranged wife Allison (Morena Baccarin), and young son Nathan make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary. Amid terrifying news accounts of cities around the world being leveled by the comet’s fragments, the Garrity’s experience the best and worst in humanity. As the countdown to global apocalypse approaches zero, their incredible trek culminates in a desperate and last-minute flight to a possible safe haven.

GREENLAND stars Gerard Butler (Angel Has Fallen, 300), Morena Baccarin (“Firefly”, To Your Last Death), Roger Dale Floyd (Doctor Sleep, “The Walking Dead: World Beyond”), Scott Glenn (“Castle Rock”, “Daredevil”), David Denman (Brightburn, Power Rangers), Hope Davis (“Wayward Pines”, Captain America: Civil War), Andrew Bachelor (The Babysitter, When We First Met), and Joshua Mikel (Last Shift, Game Night).

The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Shot Caller, Snitch). The screenplay was written by Chris Sparling (Down a Dark Hall, The Sea of Trees) and Mitchell LaFortune.

The film is produced by Butler, Basil Iwanyk (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Sicario: Day of the Soldado), and Alan Siegel (Them That Follow, The Vanishing).
