If you attended this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, you might have been able to see a bat signal at the Altitude Sky Lounge on the roof of the Marriott, overlooking San Diego’s Gaslamp district. Buzzfeed celebrated the premiere of the CW’s new show Batwoman by throwing a rooftop rager. Buzzfeed’s Batsh!t Crazy Bash celebrated all things Batwoman with signature cocktails, appetizers, photo opportunities, city views, and a celebrity guest list.

Although there was an open bar throughout the party, guests had the opportunity to toast to Batwoman from a selection of signature cocktails. Batwoman’s Kiss, Gotham’s Gin and Ruby Rosé were among the delicious signature drinks available to Buzzfeed’s guests. A large space allowed guests to enjoy their refreshments sitting on couches or socializing around tables while taking in the city views.

As a DJ spun hits from the 90s to present, guests were able to enjoy Batwoman themed photo opportunities. A photo booth with a green screen allowed guests to take unlimited gifs with a swarm of bats around them. Additionally, selfies were encouraged with access to an exclusive Batwoman Snapchat filter. In the lobby, guests could also take photos with a red bat signal light projector. And of course, guests were able to take photos with the beautiful San Diego skyline at sunset behind them.
What would a Comic-Con Party be without swag? Buzzfeed and the CW provided guests with Batwoman t-shirts and temporary tattoos to spread the word about the upcoming show. Additionally, celebrity guests were present in their support of Batwoman. Director James Wan of The Conjuring Universe, Harvey Guillen who plays Guillermo on What We Do in the Shadows, and Cress Williams from Black Lightning were in attendance, just to name a few.
Overall, the enthusiasm for Batwoman at Buzzfeed’s Batsh!t Crazy

Bash created hype for the premiere and excitement for the new series. Batwoman airs October 6, 2019 on the CW.
