Well Go USA Entertainment has revealed the first official poster and trailer for their upcoming sci-fi horror film, FREAKS. Make sure you check out both below and let us know what you think.

They have also announced a special sneak peek screening of the film at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 hosted by the distribution company as well as Collider. The screening will take place Thursday, July 18, at 9 PM in the Theatre Box San Diego. Following the film will be a Q&A with directors Adam Stein and Zack Zipovsky and actress Lexy Kolker. Seating is limited, so it’s going to be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Kept locked inside the house by her father, 7-year-old Chloe lives in fear and fascination of the outside world, where Abnormals create a constant threat – or so she believes. When a mysterious stranger offers her a glimpse of what’s really happening outside, Chloe soon finds that while the truth isn’t so simple, the danger is very real.

The film stars Emile Hirsch (The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Into the Wild), Bruce Dern (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Hateful Eight), Grace Park (“A Million Little Things, “Battlestar Galactica”), with Amanda Crew (“Silicon Valley”, The Age of Adaline), and introducing Lexy Kolker

FREAKS is directed and written by Adam Stein (Kim Possible, Hot Java) and Zach Lipovsky (Afflicted, Leprechaun: Origins). It is produced by Stein, Lipovsky, Jordan Barber (5 Films About Technology), and Mitchell Waxman (Mr. Universe, The Real American). It is executive produced by M. Alan Stein (Freaks), Rick Alyea (That One Night), Philip Kim (World’s End), and Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard (The Late Bloomer).

FREAKS will be in theaters nationwide August 23, 2019.
