In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven journey far beyond the gates of Arendelle in search of answers. Featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, “Frozen 2” opens in U.S. theaters November 22.

On behalf of Walt Disney Animation Studios, we have the new trailer for FROZEN 2, the follow-up sequel to 2013’s smash hit, Frozen. Make sure you check it out below and let us know what you think.

Why was Elsa (Idina Menzel) born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), Olaf (Josh Gad) and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In FROZEN 2, she must hope they are enough.

While the first teaser trailer hinted at far darker tones covered in the upcoming sequel and might have made us believe that the plot was going to be focusing on finding Elsa’s parents, this new trailer seems to be swinging the possibilities in entirely different directions. I’m starting to think that it may have something to do with Norse Gods and Elsa being the only one to pass muster? I don’t know. Do you guys have any theories you want to share?

From the Academy Award-winning team – directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and producer Peter Del Vecho – and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, and the music of Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Also lending their voices to the film are Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (The Predator).

Walt Disney Animation Studios FROZEN 2 opens in U.S. theaters on November 22, 2019.
