[News] COME TO DADDY Premieres Today at TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL
COME TO DADDY, the directorial debut of acclaimed producer Ant Timpson (ABCs of DEATH, HOUSEBOUND, TURBO KID), celebrates its World Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival today, April 25th!
Here is a first look clip from the darkly comedic thriller, featuring Elijah Wood and Stephen McHattie. Elijah plays Norval Greenwood. Make sure you check out the clip below.
Norval Greenwood, a privileged man-child arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father. He quickly discovers that not only is dad a jerk, but he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with both of them. Now, hundreds of miles from his cushy comfort zone, Norval must battle with demons both real and perceived in order to reconnect with a father he barely knows.
The film stars Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings franchise), Stephen McHattie (300), Martin Donovan (Big Little Lies), Michael Smiley (The Lobster), Madeleine Sami (Breaker Uppers), and Simon Chin (Killing Eve).
COME TO DADDY is presented by Tango Entertainment and is produced by Mette-Marie Kongsved, Laura Tunstall, Daniel Bekerman, Emma Slade, Katie Holly and Toby Harvard. Executive Producers are Tim Headington, Lia Buman, Hussain Amarshi and Ant Timpson. Co-Producers are Alex Ordanis and Jacqueline Nguyen. Tango Entertainment financed the film with contribution from the New Zealand Film Commission. XYZ Films is repping World sales.
COME TO DADDY will World Premiere, today Thursday, 4/25 at 9:00 PM, SVA Theater 2 Beatrice with the cast in attendance and a follow-up screening on Friday, 4/26 at 8:45 PM, Regal Cinemas Battery Park.
