[News] Comedy Series LOS ESPOOKYS Debuts June 14th on HBO

The comedy series LOS ESPOOKYS begins its six-episode season on Friday, June 14, 2019. The show will air 11:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

From Julio Torres and Ana Fabrega, alongside Fred Armisen and Lorne Michaels of “Saturday Night Live,” the primarily Spanish-language show follows a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business, providing horror to those who need it, in a dreamy Latin American country where the strange and eerie are just part of daily life.

Starring Ana Fabrega, Julio Torres, Cassandra Ciangherotti and Bernardo Velasco as The Espookys with José Pablo Minor and recurring guest star Fred Armisen, LOS ESPOOKYS was created by Fred Armisen, Ana Fabrega, and Julio Torres. The show is executive produced by Lorne Michaels, Fred Armisen, and Andrew Singer and co-executive produced by Ana Fabrega, Julio Torres, Alice Mathias, and Nate Young.

The pilot for LOS ESPOOKYS was written by Fred Armisen, Ana Fabrega, and Julio Torres. The pilot was directed by Fernando Frias.  The show was produced by Broadway Video in association with Antigravico and Más Mejor, and Oscar®-winning Chilean production company Fabula.
