[News] Cardiac Productions’ First Immersive Experience MIDNIGHT Expected to Shake Up Santa Ana

Cardiac Productions is proud to announce that they are debuting their first immersive experience, MIDNIGHT, on March 23rd & 24th, 2019.

MIDNIGHT puts the guests into the role of babysitters, whom are watching over the Steinen children while the parents are away. The Son, the youngest of the children, decides he wants to play The Midnight Game. The rules are simple: Move around the house, don’t stop moving, and keep your candle lit. If you don’t, you lose. And losers will meet The Midnight Man, who is said to be ready to collect your organs…one by one. Will you survive until 3:33AM?

MIDNIGHT is expected to last 1 hour. Each showing will hold 6 people and tickets are $45 per person. Tickets go on sale on February 25th.

Cardiac Productions aims at creating mobile immersive experiences; meaning once the story has been created and had its debut, it can go anywhere. MIDNIGHT is no exception. Their first experiences will be in Santa Ana, however, they do hope to take it to various locations in Orange County and Los Angeles. The idea leads to replayability: if you saw the show in one location, you could experience something completely different in another, giving each viewing a fresh experience.

MIDNIGHT is the creative nightmare of Forrest Orta. No stranger to horror, Forrest has been scaring Knott’s Scary Farm for the past 7 years, playing Buddy Nutters in RETURN HOME for the past 3 years, in addition to being Founder/CEO of Cardiac Productions. Forrest has felt that this journey could not be done alone. He has found a great partner for the journey in Anthony Olivares, whose track record includes working in various horror experiences, such as Escape X, Welcome Home, and Knott’s Scary Farm.

“Horror can always be found in the most unassuming places. My inspiration for Midnight came from watching Shane Dawson play this game with friends. I loved the idea of the game and felt it would make such a great foundation for something sinister to happen. I’m so excited to see where this goes and how everyone takes to it,” said Forrest Orta.

One thing is clear: REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR CANDLE LIT.
